The KBA team would like to wish you a Happy New Year and we looked forward to seeing you in 2019.
Let’s talk advertising
Our very own Branding Expert, Jonathan Gabay, was on TV this month! He was on BBC The Mash Report talking about the importance of advertising in schools.
Social Media experts join KBA
We would like give a warm welcome to social media platform and content creators, It’s Gone Viral. They are newest addition to the KBA family and we already love working with them.
Just call us The Wolf of Wall Street…
…Well maybe not quite. However, this year our charity client Leadership Through Sport and Business had the privilege of being one of the chosen charities to receive some of the proceeds from the amazing ICAP charity day. The KBA team arranged for celebrities to go down to the trading office to show their support and help raise money. We got the likes of; Big Brother’s Aisleyne, Love Island’s Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt, celebrity DJ Pat Sharpe, former football manager Alan Pardew and Scottish rugby star Duncan Taylor. The day was a complete success and an outstanding £4.5 million was raised.
A.B.C. is as easy as 1.2.3.
We hosted an evening at the West End’s Motown Musical. We had an absolute ball, and left the theatre singing aloud and doing our best impressions of Michael Jackson and Diana Ross.
Slow down there cowboy
The team went along to watch the legendary country band, Midland at the O2 and had a great time singing along to the hits.
Ain’t no mountain high enough!
Our client, Henry Smith, will be climbing Antarctica’s highest peak to raise money for The Wickers Charity, which he founded in 2018. The proceeds will go towards to the charity which aim to provide opportunities for young people. To help raise awareness of the fundraising, we have been able to get coverage on BBC News and in publications such as the Evening Standard, Hackney Gazette and Charity Update.
Let’s Rock and Roll
We took our guests to see ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ at the Dominion Theatre this month. The night was full of air guitars, singing and head banging, needless to say, we had an absolute rocking night.
T’is the season to be jolly
In the spirit of festive cheer, we went along to the Wicker’s Charity and joined them for their annual Christmas party. We played games with the young people, enjoyed the music and got involved in the Christmas fun.
We went over to The Arts Theatre Club for our Christmas team drinks. It was a lovely evening filled of laughter and Christmas joy, not to mention a countless number of tasty cocktails.
Oh no he didn’t … Oh yes he did!
Our Talent Manager Sam Kane, directed and starred in his very own pantomime in the Southport over the festive period. He did an amazing job of entertaining the crowds and had everyone doubled over in laughter.
We had the pleasure of planning the Chessie King and Sport FX collaboration launch at Sports Direct’s flagship store in Oxford Circus. We particularly loved being a part of this project as it was all about the promotion of positive body images, health and fitness.
Our clients, Harley Street Skin Clinic and Arthur Murray Dance International hosted an evening called ‘#DancingWithHeroes’. The evening was created to celebrate the service men and women that put their lives on the line for our country and bring joy back to their lives through dance. Joined by celebrities including Lorraine Chase, Tim Vincent and Andrea McLean, the evening was filled of dancing and cheer. We ensured the media knew about occasion and got coverage in major publications including the Daily Mirror.
